Industrial sectional garage door

GENERAL

Insulated sectional garage doors have a wide range of applications. They can be installed in residential garages or multi-space garages, storage areas, industrial facilities, and factories.

They offer superior build quality, excellent aesthetic appeal, thermal and acoustic insulation, quiet operation, safety and reliability, and minimal maintenance requirements.

With no limitations to standard dimensions, they are manufactured in a wide variety of configurations depending on the requirements and architecture of the buildings, as well as customer needs and preferences.

Choice of colors in all RAL shades and wood-effect finishes, option of manual or motorized operation, choice of panel type (flat, ribbed with stripe, or paneled with cassette), integration of windows, and pedestrian door.

Depending on dimensions and usage, sectional garage doors are classified as either industrial or residential.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

PANEL

The industrial insulated sectional garage door consists of double-wall panels made of galvanized steel sheet 0.5 mm thick, specially treated and electrostatically painted in various colors (RAL). The panels are then filled along their entire length with expanded polyurethane, achieving a high degree of thermal insulation performance. A perfect seal is also achieved by installing high-quality rubber seals around the perimeter. At the bottom, the rubber seal slides into a special aluminum profile which is screwed onto the bottom panel of the door. The seal at the top and on the vertical sections is achieved with snap-on rubber fitted onto the corresponding sections of the frame.

The total panel thickness is 42 mm. It is designed and manufactured in such a way as to prevent finger trapping between panels during door operation. The panels are properly connected to each other with central hinges reinforced with iron alloy for optimal panel bonding, and side hinges with polyamide rollers for smooth door operation. Additionally, special side mounting brackets and a handle at the bottom are provided for manual door operation.

Three types of panels are available: flat, ribbed with parallel lines, or paneled with symmetrically distributed cassette.

GUIDES

The vertical and horizontal guides are made of galvanized steel sheet with appropriate profiling to ensure parallel operation along the ceiling. High-quality, durable rubber seals are fitted. Designed and manufactured to ensure flawless door operation.

SHAFT

The shaft diameter is Φ 25.4 mm. The springs are torsion type with reinforced tension leaf, mounted on half-shafts and lifting drums placed on the side shaft support bracket, preventing lateral shaft movement and ensuring the drum always rotates in the same position.
The door features polyamide alloy rollers for greater durability and noise reduction, as well as lifting and traction steel cables that run through pulleys and drums, either intermediate or external, depending on the door’s operating mode.

INTEGRATED WINDOWS – PEDESTRIAN DOORS

Windows (glazing inserts) can be installed on the door in square or oval shapes, with double glazing and special pressed rubber seals around the perimeter for complete sealing, providing natural lighting to the space.

A pedestrian door can also be installed on the door, which “breaks” following the garage door’s path. The pedestrian door is useful when frequent pedestrian access is required while minimizing use of the main door.

For proper door operation, the correct lift type must be selected according to the building construction.
