Thermal-Acoustic Insulation Roller Shutter

KATEE Thermal-Acoustic Security Roller Shutters provide thermal insulation, sound
insulation, quiet operation and resistance to large openings, wind pressure, frequent
use, with the utmost structural stability.

They are produced on an automated production line for polyurethane injection and
polymerization.

They are manufactured to the most stringent strength and safety specifications from
pre-painted 3003-H44 aluminum alloy sheets with a thickness of 0.6mm per side and
a special polyester-polyamide paint.

The sheet development is 115mm, the polyurethane thickness is 20mm, and its
density is 80kg/m³.

The sheets have special ribs and curvature to achieve greater strength and better
winding. They have left and right slanted metal end plates at the edges that prevent
lateral displacement of the sheet and also reduce noise and friction.

The bottom sheet is a specially reinforced aluminum profile where a PVC profile with
double fins (bubble) is fitted for sealing and to accommodate any ground
irregularities.

The shutter guides are reinforced and fitted with a special rubber strip, as well as
“gliders” for smoother roller shutter movement in the guides and a refined finish.

They are wound on a reinforced galvanized shaft, Φ60, Φ76 with drums, or TUBE
shaft rotating on bearings. The unique system of a movable axle with a moving
hanger is offered for vertical operation of rollers with great height and large
diameter.

A safety bar can be installed for protection in cases of high wind pressure. They
operate manually or with an electric mechanism which is quiet, of high European
Union specifications, with an electric brake and manual operation in case of a power

They are offered with remote control featuring a state-of-the-art, non-copyable
rolling code transmitter. Operation via button or keyed button is also possible, as well
as roller shutter operation from a mobile phone via Smart Wi-Fi.

A thermal-acoustic aluminum roller shutter is available in the following colors: white
(RAL 9016), gray (RAL 7001), green (RAL 6005), blue (RAL 5010), red (RAL 3002), silver
(RAL 9006) and wood imitation.

For space lighting, sheets with the aluminum profile with glass can be added. This
profile consists of reinforced primary aluminum and high-strength acrylic material
(plexi glass), with dimensions of 60cm X 8.5cm.
