Double-leaf fireproof door 60 & 120 EI2

Fireproof door with fire resistance of 60 or 120 minutes according to EN 1634-1, the latest European directive on door fire resistance, with a leaf thickness of 51 mm.

The door leaf is of sandwich type with external cladding made of electro-galvanized sheet metal 0.8+0.8 mm and internal filling of non-combustible thermal and acoustic insulating material based on mineral fibers, density 100 kg/m³. On the rear side, it features 2 safety pins.

The frame is manufactured from DKP sheet metal, thickness 1.5 mm, with hinges pre-installed. It features milled holes for mounting and is equipped with intumescent strips around the perimeter. The frame width is 56 mm for strong support.

It is supplied with a matching top and bottom frame section so that the same door can be used for both right-hand and left-hand opening.

Two heavy-duty hinges with bearings are provided. One of the two hinges is adjustable and also functions as a self-closing mechanism.

Fully steel lock with handles and fireproof strikes according to DIN 18273 FS. The fireproof doors are finished with electrostatic powder coating in RAL 7035 textured (light grey) or in another color upon request.

Additionally, upon order, certain accessories are available such as panic bars, a priority closing mechanism for the leaves, and a mechanism with automatic steel floor and ceiling bolts so that the semi-fixed leaf can be safely secured in the closed position. Also available upon request is the installation of electromagnets (floor or wall mounted) which hold the door leaves open, as well as a hydraulic self-closing mechanism for frequent use.

In the case of the double-leaf door, the active leaf is the same as the single-leaf door, while additionally there is the semi-fixed leaf with fire protection materials. Furthermore, a steel channel is screwed onto the semi-fixed leaf, housing the upper and lower locking pins, as well as the locking receptacles for the active leaf lock.

Each double-leaf fireproof door is supplied with the necessary test certificates, after tests carried out at the National Technical University of Athens, which is accredited by ESYD (Hellenic Accreditation System) and is registered on the NANDO list of the European Committee.
